Portable Bars

It will come as no surprise to learn that portable bar hire from Blue Sky Event Hire is always popular throughout the year.  This is because many event types are, by their very nature, celebrations.  Think of weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate awards ceremonies and many others and they generally celebrate successes or milestones.  And, let’s face it, the bar forms the focal point of many of these types of events!

Portable bar hire in different styles

Of course, if you are holding your event in a hotel conference room, for instance, the chances are that there will be some existing bar facilities.  However, many temporary event venues such as marquees, for instance, don’t have facilities and that’s where portable bar hire from Blue Sky Event Hire comes into its own for the Yorkshire region and across the North of England.

Importantly, our bars are modular.  This means that you can either hire individual bar units or, if needed, hire multiple units of the same type which will fit together so you can create a large bar facility.  Typically speaking, the larger the event and number of guests, the larger the expanse of bar you need to offer – after all, no one likes to queue for a drink at the bar, especially at an event!

Different shaped modular bar hire

Modern bars for modern events

Our ZIP bar is a perfect example of modular bar.  All the units have identical styling and are available as either straight units or curved units.  As a result, you could create not only straight line bars but also oval bars or circular bars – whatever takes your fancy!  There are also additional units such as right angled corners and low counters where you can include a coffee station, for instance, depending upon the nature of your event.

Of course, you’ll be wanting to know whether you can attach beer pumps to the bars, to which the answer is yes.  However, please ensure that only G-clamps are used for the beer pumps – anything else may damage the bar units and, as a result, you may be liable for a replacement fee.
